The Artists Loft is pleased to welcome back movement artist, Liv Schaffer, for another movement art performance as part of the Dia de los Muertos Exhibition.
Join us for a solo movement art performance titled "Dead-ication" where Liv Schaffer, through interpretive dance and discussion, will share a specific memory she experienced in Mexico during Dia de los Muertos.
Liv is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in the Bay Area. Liv graduated from Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California in 2013, and spent subsequent seasons performing with AXIS Dance Company, DanceWorks Chicago, and Robert Moses’ Kin. Liv embraces opportunity nationwide; developing integrative arts curriculum, educating dancers, and creating choreographic commissions with organizations such as Jacob's Pillow, Shawl Anderson Dance Center, Youth Art Exchange and Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA & Summer Programs.
This event is free and open to the public of all ages.
